Visitare il MAV equivale ad un vero e proprio tuffo nella storia, uno sguardo contemporaneo sul passato.

Grazie alle possibilità offerte dalle nuove tecnologie il visitatore ha l’opportunità di sperimentare un percorso plurisensoriale ed emozionale a contatto con le realtà archeologiche dell’area vesuviana. Il MAV è un’esperienza immersiva, dove, diversamente da un museo tradizionale, il visitatore non entra in contatto con reperti fisici, cristallizzati, statici, ma vive un circuito dinamico e suggestivo attraverso ricostruzioni virtuali e interfacce visuali che riproducono e documentano le realtà del passato, prima dell’eruzione pliniana del 79 d.C. nelle loro forma originaria.
